Worth a stop
The Mobley Hotel, now the Conrad Hilton Center, was the first hotel Conrad Hilton ever bought, purchased in 1919 when he came to Cisco to buy a bank and couldn't get a room in town. It now houses the Cisco Chamber of Commerce and a small Hilton museum.
A little history
Cisco started around 1878 as a frontier settlement called Red Gap, and was renamed and moved to a rail crossing in 1881. It's also known for the Santa Claus Bank Robbery of 1927, when four men, one dressed as Santa Claus, robbed the First National Bank.
